Please register with one of our Telephone Greeters before attending your first meeting. Call 215-659-2366, ext. 1, or email us at Compass123@comcast.net and one of our Greeters will get in touch within 24 hours.

Here are the eligibility criteria:

- You must have a primary diagnosis of a Mood Disorder (depression or bipolar disorder) or be a family member or friend. We encourage you to bring family members.

- You must be under the care of a physician (preferably a psychiatrist).

- You may not have an active Substance Abuse problem. If you do, please consider attending a Double Trouble or Dual Recovery Meeting www.DRAonline.org. For a group near you, call the Reach Out Foundation in Morrisville, PA at 215-428-0404.

Ours is the most comprehensive support meeting around. It's reasonable for a person to drive 45 minutes to get to our group. However, if you are too far away, check out the web site of the DBSA - the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance - with whom we affiliated. DbsAlliance.org. Or click on "Other Groups" on our Menu Button.

Our philosophy is that everyone who comes to New Directions leaves with something, even if it's another resource. If we can't find an appropriate match for you, we'll direct you to the United Way First Call For Help at 215-568-3750.

If you have registered and plan to attend a meeting, the Internet will help you find our meeting place, St. Peters Episcopal Church, 654 N. Easton Road, Glenside, PA. 19038.

Simply put the name of the church into Google & you'll automagically receive directions to the church.

Hope you can make the next meeting. First-timers are always welcome.
